Have you ever noticed that time NEVER does what you want it to do? It's true. When I'm sitting at work and it's Thursday afternoon (which is actually my Friday) and it gets rather quiet, time crrraaawwls. I mean sometimes it takes 2 hours for 30 minutes to pass! It's just insane. Yet on the other hand, when I'm doing something fun, something I enjoy, time goes way too fast and the good times are over before I know it. Whoever coined the phrase "time flies when you're having fun" is a genius. Yet on the other hand (if you didn't have 3 hands before...you do now), sometimes time plays tricks on my mind. It goes by slooow and then super fast and causes a mixed jumble of confused time speeds. The worst part? I can't escape it. Nope. It's official, I canNOT escape time and its trickery. At work there's a clock on the wall in front of me, my computer clock, the time on my office phone and my cell phone! It's all over. But after all the mess and havoc time causes us, it's here for something. "The reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once". Harvey MacKay, motivational speaker/author (yes, I Googled him) once said, "Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it, you can never get it back." So as often as I feel that time is going too fast or too slow, I've come to terms with it. I lvoe the following quote:"Life is all about timing...the unreachable
become reachable,
the unavailable become available, the unattainable...attainable.
Have the patience, wait it out. It's all about timing."
become reachable,
the unavailable become available, the unattainable...attainable.
Have the patience, wait it out. It's all about timing."
